Project Engineer

The Project Engineer role is an early-career position with strong growth opportunity within Lehman Daman.
Responsibilities:
Support Project Managers, Superintendents, and Estimators by assisting with:
- Ensuring strict adherence to Lehman Daman safety practices and procedures.
- Communicating with subcontractors and vendors throughout the bidding process
- Developing project scopes of work.
- Planning and implementing project activities.
- Managing and organizing project documentation, including safety records, submittals, drawing logs, RFIs, transmittals, close-out documents, and meeting minutes.
- Subcontractor and superintendent coordination.
- Travel to jobsites as required by PM and/or Superintendents, including out of state.
- Miscellaneous tasks assigned by the project team to serve the success of the project.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in computer and smartphone use, with strong skills in Microsoft Office applications.
- Responsive and able to address requests from customers and field leadership promptly.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
- Capable of working independently in a remote or field-based setting.
- Demonstrates a growth mindset and maintains a positive attitude.
- 1-2 years of construction experience is preferred.
- Associate degree or higher in construction, engineering, or a related field required.
