We are looking for a motivated Entry‑Level CNC Machine Operators to join our production team. Working 2nd Shift (Monday-Thursday from 2pm-12am), this is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in manufacturing, machining, or technical work who want to build hands‑on experience with CNC equipment. Full training is provided for candidates with strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, or routers) under supervision
- Load raw materials and unload finished parts
- Follow setup instructions and production travelers
- Monitor machine operation and report issues to supervisors or senior machinists
- Perform basic part inspection using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measurement tools
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow all safety protocols and standard operating procedures
- Assist with basic machine maintenance (cleaning, lubrication checks, etc.)
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Mechanical aptitude or prior hands‑on experience (shop class, automotive, woodworking, etc.) preferred
- Ability to read basic measurements (inches, decimals, fractions)
- Willingness to learn CNC machining and inspection tools
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
Preferred but Not Required
- Experience with basic hand tools or power tools
- Familiarity with blueprint reading
- Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience
- Basic computer skills
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
