We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Warehouse & Equipment Technician who takes pride in organization, efficiency, and ensuring every piece of equipment leaves our facility ready for flawless execution in the field.

This is not simply a warehouse position. You will play a critical role in supporting hundreds of successful events each year.

Schedule & Availability

Our business revolves around live events, which means priorities can shift quickly.

Applicants who frequently call off, struggle with organization, have inconsistent availability, or prefer a slow-paced work environment are unlikely to be successful in this position.

Typical warehouse hours are flexible and may include daytime, evening, and occasional weekend shifts based on company needs and event schedules.

Position Overview

The Warehouse & Equipment Technician is responsible for maintaining the accuracy, organization, cleanliness, and readiness of our production inventory.

This role involves preparing equipment for upcoming events, checking equipment back into inventory after events, performing quality control inspections, maintaining warehouse organization, and supporting field operations when necessary.

The ideal candidate enjoys staying busy, solving problems, working with technology, and maintaining high standards of organization.

Responsibilities

Equipment Preparation

• Pull and prepare equipment orders for upcoming events
• Verify accuracy of equipment packages before they leave the warehouse
• Ensure all equipment is properly labeled, organized, and event-ready
• Stage equipment for loading and transportation

Post-Event Processing

• Check equipment back into inventory following events
• Inspect equipment for damage, missing components, and functionality
• Report maintenance issues and inventory discrepancies
• Ensure equipment is cleaned and returned to proper storage locations

Inventory Management

• Maintain accurate inventory counts and equipment records
• Assist with routine inventory audits and cycle counts
• Track equipment movement throughout the organization
• Help identify lost, damaged, or underutilized inventory

Warehouse Organization

• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional warehouse environment
• Organize shelves, storage areas, cases, cables, and equipment staging areas
• Continuously improve efficiency and warehouse workflows
• Ensure equipment can be located quickly and accurately

Equipment Testing & Quality Control

• Test audio, video, lighting, staging, and event equipment before deployment
• Verify equipment functionality and readiness
• Perform basic troubleshooting and repairs when appropriate
• Assist with preventative maintenance procedures

Event Support

• Assist with loading and unloading company vehicles
• Support technicians and event crews as needed
• Occasionally assist with event setup and breakdown in the field

Safety & Accountability

• Follow company safety procedures and warehouse protocols
• Operate equipment safely and responsibly
• Take ownership of maintaining professional standards throughout the facility

Qualifications

Experience

Previous experience in any of the following is preferred:

• Warehouse operations
• Inventory management
• Logistics
• Audio visual production
• Event production
• Construction trades
• Technical services
• Equipment rental operations

Relevant experience is preferred but not required for highly motivated candidates willing to learn.

Organizational Skills

You enjoy creating systems, maintaining order, and keeping things running efficiently.

Technical Aptitude

Comfort working with technology, equipment, tools, and production gear.

Experience with audio visual equipment is a major plus but not required.

Reliability

We are looking for individuals who consistently show up on time, communicate professionally, and can be trusted to complete tasks without constant supervision.

Problem Solving

Able to identify issues before they become problems and find practical solutions independently.

Physical Requirements

This position regularly requires:

• Lifting and carrying equipment weighing 50 pounds
• Standing and walking for extended periods
• Loading and unloading trucks
• Working indoors and outdoors when necessary
• Operating warehouse equipment safely

Transportation

Reliable transportation is required.

A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is strongly preferred.

Compensation: Starting at $17.00 per hour, with advancement opportunities based on performance and experience.

Expected Hours: 15–30 hours per week depending on season and workload.
