Responsibilities
- Deliver biology instruction at the undergraduate level in both a laboratory and lecture setting.
- Develop and implement effective lesson plans that align with course learning objectives.
- Assess student performance through assignments, quizzes, projects, and exams.
- Provide timely entry of grades and constructive feedback to students.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance and grades in the college provided learning management system.
- Hold regular office hours and attend adjunct convocation.
- Collaborate with department staff and faculty to enhance course content and teaching methods.
- Rigorously adhere to and enforce laboratory safety rules.
- Master’s degree in Biology or equivalent experience with at least 18.0 graduate level credits in Biology required.
- Prior teaching experience and laboratory experience at the undergraduate level is preferred.
- Proficiency in educational technology and familiarity with learning management systems is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.

- PA Child Abuse History,
- FBI Cogent Clearance Fingerprinting (Department of Education).
