Rock Wall Attendant

CLOSING DATE: Open until Filled

PAY RATE: $11.72 per hour

SCHEDULE: Flexible working schedule, some evenings and Saturdays

DEPARTMENT: Recreation

Perform general duties at the rock wall, including, but not limited to:

• Harnessing and belaying patrons up the wall.
• Changing the rock holds for different routes.
• Helping with rock wall parties and rentals.
• Ensuring safety and cleanliness of the rock wall area.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Flexible working schedule; evenings and Saturdays.
• Good public relation skills are a must.
• Punctual and dependable.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time; good general health.
• Ability to understand and follow safety procedures.
• Must be able to handle groups of children and youth.
• Must be at least 16 years of age.

Employment in this position is conditional upon passing a pre-employment background and drug test.
