SCHEDULE: Flexible, up to an average of 5 to 8 hours per week.

JOB SUMMARY |
Performs a variety of general administrative and first-line supervisory duties as needed to coordinate the organization and operation of the cheer program.
As Program Manager, the expectations for this position are:
- Oversees all activities related to the Cheer Program, including but not limited: hiring, disciplinary action, staffing, training, evaluations, timekeeping, program budget, program reservations, class schedules, cheer equipment, participant enrollment, lesson plans, and coordinating cheer game locations.
- Some coaching may be necessary on as needed basis
- Monitors program activities to assure quality and serves as trouble shooter. This is intended to be a supervisory position although circumstances may at times require those with primarily organizational assignments to perform in additional capacities on an as needed basis.
- Recruits, hires and trains part-time personnel needed in conjunction with Cheer program; monitors performance and makes recommendations affecting personnel statuses such as retention, advancement, and discipline.
- Responsible for equipment and apparel/uniforms associated with program; works with vendors to negotiate equipment and apparel/uniforms pricing; keeps inventory and orders replacement and new equipment as needed; assures a safe and clean environment through periodic safety checks.
- Gives recommendations to supervisor for the program budget; makes revenue projections; monitors on-going expenditures to assure compliance with fiscal goals; advises in the establishment of program fees.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS |
A successful candidate will meet these minimum requirements:
- Graduation from high school
AND
- Two (2) years experience performing above or related duties; Three (3) or more years preferred.
OR
- An equivalent combination of education and experience
A successful candidate will also have the followings skills and abilities:
- Working knowledge of methods, techniques, and philosophies of developing and operating a recreation.
- Knowledge of liability issues and injury.
- Organizational skills; personal computers and various software applications including spreadsheets, word processing, Some knowledge of budgeting processes and general accounting.
- Working knowledge of recreation programs, establishment of team rosters, and schedule classes, meets and other play.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, volunteers, and the
