You’ll be responsible for taking orders accurately, providing menu guidance, and ensuring food and beverages are served promptly with a smile. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using Square
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Manage cash handling and cashiering duties with precision, including processing payments and providing correct change
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations, including proper food handling and kitchen cooperation
- Assist with bussing tables, resetting dining areas quickly during busy hours, and supporting host/host duties when needed
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred, especially in fine dining
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation protocols
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle diverse situations gracefully
- Ability to multitask effectively while demonstrating excellent time management skills in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and order calculations
