About the RolePainting, pressure washing, performs fiberglass repair. Works from blueprints, sketches and verbal instructions to obtain dimensions and finish specifications. Displays a great imagination to create, design, build, and paint various objects for the theme park.  Performs other maintenance functions within theme park and assists other maintenance team members as necessary.

In this role, you will:-Works with various types of painting; spray paint, roll, brush, airless sprayer.-Responsible for all aspects of painting, finish, texture, and stain.-Operates various types of painting machines and equipment, spray guns, including airless sprayers.-Performs repairs on objects and matches paint colors.-Prepare color tint to match paint color; Mix paint colors, and ensure all formulations, preparations, top coating and curing meet ----OEM recommended standards for proper application sequence, timing and materials usage-Applicant will need to demonstrate the knowledge & understanding of fiberglass/fabrication, as well as safety precaution-Use and move various sized ladders as needed, as well as ability to lift 50 pounds-Makes certain that all work assigned is complete and of good sound workmanship.-Requisitions material and equipment needed for fiberglass and paint projects.-Recognizes equipment that needs repair, replacing, or adjusting.-Keeps Park paint and various props in good appearance.-Keeps safety as #1 priority.-Submits estimates of time, labor and materials for pending assignments.  Submits and completes work order assignments.-Stays informed and updated on modern techniques and technical methods by attending supplemental courses, seminars, conventions, etc.-Attends weekly staff meetings for purpose of directing, informing and training.-Responds to emergency calls within theme park, expediting repairs to ensure guest and fellow Model Citizen safety and comfort at all times.

Qualifications & Experience

About You-Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.-Must be at least 18 years old.-Requires experience in building construction painting, pressure washing, line stripping machine and drywall repair.-Experience in painting and fiberglass work, including airless sprayer.-Knowledge of tools, materials and equipment used to repair, build and maintain theme park buildings, attractions, etc. is required.-Knowledge of basic materials and techniques used in the painting, fiberglass is required.-Requires experience in detailing, refinishing and maintaining painted objects and props for the park.-Requires knowledge of OSHA, state and county codes.-Must possess knowledge of painting, fiberglass repairs and detail finish work.-Ability to read, evaluate and correspondence in English and basic math skills are required.-A friendly, polite and customer service-oriented demeanor is required.-Requires the ability to follow supervisor’s directions effectively with the ability to observe and remember details.-Have a positive attitude and a love for FUN!
