Who we’re looking for...

LEGOLAND Florida Resort is looking for excited and enthusiastic Model Citizens to fill our Guest Experience Host role in various guest facing departments.

About our guest facing roles...

Admissions:

The Model Citizens in our Admissions Department have a passion for ensuring guest happiness on all levels! As the first interaction with our guests, providing the highest level of guest service and being GUEST OBSESSED is a top priority.

Your mission will be to act as an ambassador for the LEGOLAND Resort, ensuring guests are provided with safe and fun experiences. You will assist with inquiries and be the friendly go to guests can come to for assistance. You will also be required to assist with traffic control, parking lot cleanliness and you will sell and scan tickets upon guest arrival. The job will also involve conducting opening, operating, and closing procedures.

  • Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings.
  • Be willing to work in all weather conditions.
  • Maintain adherence to all health and safety protocols.
  • Ensure cleanliness in all working areas.
  • Handle credit card transactions in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Keep updated on all special promotions, coupons, and tickets.
  • Be quick-thinking, able to multi-task, and able to assist in other areas around the park if needed.

Attractions:

Our Attractions AWESOME team, or ‘Model Citizens’, have a passion for roller coasters, fun, and keeping our guests safe. They’re in charge of giving excellent guest service, memorizing product knowledge, and making guests feel safe! Whether you’re operating the rides as an Attractions Operator or checking heights and restraints, you’ll spend your day outdoors interacting with children and giving them experiences they’ll cherish forever.

This role is all about guest service – so that means you should be friendly, out-going, and well presented, who can be trusted to look after our guests. You’ll need to be able to communicate in English and you’ll need basic reading and math skills. You must be over the age of 18 to be an Attractions Operator, and you must be able to work a variety of shifts including holidays and weekends. You should be able to work in a multi-cultural environment and be able to make quick decisions whilst working independently or in a team.

  • Operate or assist with attractions per standard operating procedure.
  • Perform daily testing of ride operating systems.
  • Assist with guest entry and exit of the ride.
  • Maintain daily logs and paperwork.
  • Be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the attractions by providing verbal safety instructions to guests and enforcing rules and regulations.
  • Other duties, as assigned.

Resort Quality:

As a Host in Park Presentation, you’ll oversee maintaining the high standard of cleanliness that LEGOLAND Florida Resort strives to accomplish. We’ll need you to make safety the number one priority and you will represent the Grounds department as a Park Ambassador. The work you’ll be doing could be the difference between a bad experience and an awesome day at our amazing resort.

  • Sweeps and litter picks park walkways as designated and maintains cleanliness of landscaped areas.
  • Replaces all paper and liquid products in all park restrooms.
  • Responsible for the overall cleanliness of designated restrooms.
  • Uses liquid and dry detergents and chemicals for cleaning and sanitizing.
  • Responsible for emptying all trash cans along a designated route and relocating full trash containers to an outside transfer station.
  • May have to clean up body fluid spills from park restrooms and other park locations.
  • Occasionally uses heavy equipment including air blower, power washer and industrial vacuum.

Resort Experience Host:

The Resort Experience role is responsible for helping LEGOLAND Florida Resort Guests find their seats, disseminate information about the show and the resort, distribute special effects glasses as necessary, and participate with the show to encourage audience participation. The role has high visibility within the venues, functioning as a greeter, support for the show, and assisting Guests as necessary. Reports to the team leaders and area leaders in the day-to-day operations of the venue and in maintaining the high standards of the resort / guest experience.

  • Ensures the venues are clean, safe, and ready to accommodate guests by completing the opening and closing checklists.
  • Greets every guest as they enter the venue and provide information about the show.
  • Answers questions about shows, other events in the resort, and locations of key resort areas such as restrooms and concessions.
  • Cleans venues thoroughly after every show.
  • Provides assistance to any guest with special needs.
  • Handles guest complaints, involving a supervisor if needed.
  • Enters guest counts hourly.
  • Assists guests with company protocols and procedures.

Retail:

The Model Citizens in our Retail Department have a passion for ensuring guest happiness on all levels! You will be performing a variety of duties related to the display and sale of merchandise items including preparing inventory for sale, processing sales, maintaining retail locations and ensuring positive guest service to park visitors.

  • Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings.
  • Be willing to work in all weather conditions.
  • Maintain adherence to all health and safety protocols.
  • Ensure cleanliness in all working areas.
  • Handle credit card transactions in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Be quick-thinking, able to multi-task, and able to assist in other areas around the park if needed.
  • Exhibit product knowledge and selling skills.
  • Engage in playful guest interactions.

Lifeguards:

Lifeguards implement our policies and procedures and must be a steady, reliable, and authoritative presence in the event a guest needs their help – whether that’s helping someone in danger of drowning or delivering first aid when needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $14.50 per hour
