This requisition will fill two (2) roles for Final and Pre-pack Directors.
Core Responsibilities
Lead daily packing operations ensuring adherence to Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and People (SQDCP) critical metrics.
Drive compliance with global LEGO production standards and regulatory requirements.
Support site readiness for automation and new technology integration in upcoming facility transitions.
Directly manage and develop a shop floor of Group Leaders, promoting a positive and welcoming environment.
Leverage LEGO Continuous Improvement (LCI) principles to identify and implement improvement opportunities.
Collaborate actively with Production, Maintenance, Logistics, HR, and Training functions for seamless operations.
Develop contingency plans to navigate supply chain or production uncertainties.

The Packing Operations department is responsible for managing pre-packing and final packing of LEGO boxes at LEGO Manufacturing Virginia. This function ensures safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery of finished products in alignment with global standards. Packing at LVA is rapidly evolving, with current processes adhering to established global equipment and methods, and with future transition toward highly automated systems as part of our new facility development.
Do you have what it takes?
Leadership experience in high-volume production, packaging, or manufacturing operations.
Consistent track record of hands-on operational leadership, leading teams and driving performance directly on the production floor.
Experience leading in a lean manufacturing culture with proven success in applying continuous improvement methodologies.
Strong command of operational metrics, problem-solving tools, and manufacturing systems.
Background in scaling operations and preparing organizations for automation or technology transitions preferred.
Advanced education in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Operations Management, or related field is highly desired.

Some international travel will be required.
Compensation
The salary for this position has a range of $153,020.00 - $229,530.00 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law.
