The Entry-Level Welder is responsible for assisting in the fabrication, assembly, and welding of metal components in a shop environment. This role is ideal for individuals beginning their welding career who are eager to learn, follow safety procedures, and develop technical skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the setup and preparation of materials for welding, including measuring, cutting, and cleaning metal
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, drawings, and work orders
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment safely
- Inspect completed welds for quality and report any defects or issues
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all company safety policies, including proper use of PPE
- Support senior welders and fabricators with daily tasks and projects
- Participate in training to develop welding skills and certifications
Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
