Job Summary
We are looking for a full-time Project Manager who is ready to their skills and soar to new heights. The ideal candidate would be highly organized and detail-oriented and able to oversee and drive millwork projects from inception to completion. Strong leadership skills, a passion to succeed and a deep understanding of project management methodologies are key to this role.
Responsibilities
- Lead projects with a sense of urgency to deliver on-time and on-budget
- Orchestrate work and communicate amongst a number of different internal and external functional teams
- Proactively explore all aspects of each assigned project
- Hold General Contractor accountable to the timely delivery on the commitments of the project
- Conduct field measurements to confirm dimensions and ensure accurate fit & installation of millwork components
- Coordinate schedules, manage submittals, review shop drawings
- In office 2-3 days per week, car travel the remainder of the week (CT, MA, NY, NJ)
Required Skills
- Working knowledge of the commercial woodwork business
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously
- Maintains a professional business demeanor at all time
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate across a multitude of functions
- Strong decision-making skills
- Adapt easily to change
- Experience with INNERGY is a plus
Education/Prior Work Experience
- Bachelor’s or Associate degree in related field, such as Construction Management, Architecture, or Engineering preferred
- 2 years’ experience in a similar role in a similar environment
