Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment efficiently and thoroughly.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including sinks, counters, and storage spaces.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as basic chopping or assembling ingredients when needed.
- Support the catering team during events by ensuring all serving ware is clean and ready for use.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure safety standards are met.
- Help with general cleaning duties around the kitchen and dining areas to uphold hygiene standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely availability of clean dishes and utensils for service.
Skills
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is a plus but not required.
- Knowledge of basic cleaning procedures and food safety practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
