We're Hiring: Accounts Receivable Specialist – Long-Term Care Pharmacy
Location: San Antonio, TX
Position Type: Full-Time
Legends Pharmacy is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our growing team. This position plays a vital role in supporting the financial health of our long-term care pharmacy operations while helping ensure residents receive the medications and services they need.
Please note: We are currently seeking candidates residing in the San Antonio and surrounding areas.
What You'll Do:
- Submit and manage claims for Medicare Part D, Medicaid, private insurance, and third-party payers
- Conduct follow-up on outstanding claims and unpaid invoices
- Resolve denials, rejections, and billing discrepancies
- Reconcile payments, adjustments, and refunds
- Generate and review aging reports
- Collaborate with pharmacy operations, customer service, and billing teams to support efficient workflows
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and applicable state and federal regulations
What We're Looking For:
- High school diploma or equivalent required (associate degree preferred)
- Experience in healthcare accounts receivable, medical billing, or revenue cycle management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment
- Long-term care pharmacy experience is a plus
- Must reside in the San Antonio or surrounding areas and be available to work onsite
