Responsibilities
- Operate a variety of manufacturing machinery
- Perform routine inspections of equipment and products using measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments to ensure quality standards are met
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues on industrial equipment by diagnosing problems using engineering troubleshooting techniques and implementing effective solutions
- Conduct quality inspections throughout the production process to verify dimensional measurements and adherence to specifications
- Assist with setup, calibration, and adjustments of machinery to optimize performance
- Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents or injuries during machine operation or maintenance activities
Experience
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment issues efficiently
- Experience using measurement tools for dimensional and quality inspection purposes
- Basic math skills necessary for measurements and process calculations
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
