Job Title: Ticket Seller

Department: Box Office

FLSA: Part-time

Reports to: Box Office Manager

Legends Global is the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities. We have an excellent opportunity and immediate opening for a Part-Time Ticket Seller at out Richmond facilities to include Dominion Energy Center and Altria Theater. This position is responsible for the sale of tickets at each venue during regular office hours, and during events, most of which occur during evenings and on weekends.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Demonstrates excellent customer service skills
• Opens and or closes ticket window as required.
• Accurately dispenses tickets as requested by patrons
• Accepts payments and makes change accurately.
• Maintains accurate count when selling hard tickets
• Accesses computer for count of computer printed tickets.
• Completes daily ticket sales report
• Fills reservations for seats I via in person, telephone and/or mail
• Mans Will-Call window
• Responds to requests for service and assistance
• Efficiently and courteously answers questions concerning prices, seating, events and coming attractions.
• Files various records and reports.
• Performs routine clerical and other duties as assigned
  
  

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Education Diploma
• Flexible schedule. Able to work midday, evening and weekend shifts.
• Must have 1 to 3 months related experience and/or training
• Box office (Ticketmaster and/or Etix), cashier, or guest services background preferred
• Proven Customer Service skills
• Able to work independently
• Ability to follow instructions
• Accurate data entry skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Mature judgment and professionalism in handling all matters
• Good problem solving skills and organizational ability
• Experience working independently and as a team member
• Ability to work the ticket window with minimal supervision
• Proficient command of the English language
• Professional attitude and appearance
