What are the responsibilities and job description for the REVENUE AUDITOR position at LEGENDS BAY CASINO?
The Revenue Auditor will be responsible for the auditing of food and beverage/casino revenue accounting and support the Finance Department.
Job Requirements:
- Track pertinent information for the casino.
- Responsible for the daily audits of Table Games, Slots, Food & Beverage, Cage, Keno, & Kiosks.
- Be responsible in making sure everything balances out in various audit accounts assigned.
- Lend support to your department in a variety of other duties when needed.
- Comply with all policies and procedures.
- Maintain a high degree of confidentiality in performing all aspects of the assigned responsibilities.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor during all interactions with guests, fellow team members, and vendors.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous accounting experience is required.
Additional Requirements:
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Knowledge of gaming MICS.
- Must possess necessary math skills to ensure all transactions are properly executed.
- Ability to promptly respond to common inquiries, complaints, or requests from various internal and external parties in a professional manner.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work successfully on his/her own with minimal supervision.
- Solid organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to compose detailed, concise, and accurate documents, such as reports, policies, procedures, and correspondence.
- Excellent verbal, listening and written communication.
- Knowledge of tax practices, IRS levies, check garnishments law, sales and use tax, etc.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work, meet deadlines, have good time management and comprehension.
- Must possess the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, Power Point, Internet, and e-mail with the ability to acquire proficiency in numerous other applications.
