REVENUE AUDITOR

Description

The Revenue Auditor will be responsible for the auditing of food and beverage/casino revenue accounting and support the Finance Department.

Job Requirements:

• Track pertinent information for the casino.
• Responsible for the daily audits of Table Games, Slots, Food & Beverage, Cage, Keno, & Kiosks.
• Be responsible in making sure everything balances out in various audit accounts assigned.
• Lend support to your department in a variety of other duties when needed.
• Comply with all policies and procedures.
• Maintain a high degree of confidentiality in performing all aspects of the assigned responsibilities.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor during all interactions with guests, fellow team members, and vendors.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous accounting experience is required.

Additional Requirements: 

• Must be 21 years of age. 
• Knowledge of gaming MICS.
• Must possess necessary math skills to ensure all transactions are properly executed.
• Ability to promptly respond to common inquiries, complaints, or requests from various internal and external parties in a professional manner.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work successfully on his/her own with minimal supervision.
• Solid organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to compose detailed, concise, and accurate documents, such as reports, policies, procedures, and correspondence.
• Excellent verbal, listening and written communication.
• Knowledge of tax practices, IRS levies, check garnishments law, sales and use tax, etc.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work, meet deadlines, have good time management and comprehension.
• Must possess the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Power Point, Internet, and e-mail with the ability to acquire proficiency in numerous other applications.
