Job Title: Loan Operations/Maintenance Specialist
Department: Loan Operations
Reports to: Loan Operations Manager

Summary/Purpose:
Provides support to the Loan Operations Department in reference to loan files by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Prints, reviews and mails loan billing notices and past due statements.
- Maintains construction draw files.
- Coordinates property inspections for construction loans.
- Calculates available funds and prepares tickets for construction draws.
- Communicates with loan officers, inspectors and customers as needed.
- Prepares documentation required to release collateral for paid off loans.
- Prepares paid off loan files for long term storage.
- Updates tickler system with outstanding exception items.
- Updates tickler system with insurance information.
- Coordinates insurance tracking with third party vendor.
- Reviews & updates system w/Force Placed insurance.
- Operates computer or office machines to compute payoffs, rebates, and adjustments.
- Answers questions on all types of loans and loan products.
- Corrects non-posted items.
- Prepares loan reports relating to duties or projects assigned.
- Assists with problem/error resolution as needed.
- Maintains logs as required.
- Performs necessary research for completion of projects.
- Ensures schedules and deadlines are met.
- Scans loan files as needed for department.
- Book/Maintenance loans on Core system.

- EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent with some banking experience. Prefer 2 years’ experience in a financial industry loan department.
