Responsibilities
- Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, pruning, and planting to ensure vibrant and healthy outdoor spaces
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment including trimmers, blowers, lawn mowers, and excavators safely and efficiently
- Support installation of hardscape features like patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other landscape structures
- Perform tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, and planting to promote healthy growth
- Maintain irrigation systems by installing, repairing, or adjusting sprinklers to ensure proper watering schedules
- Conduct general gardening tasks including soil preparation, mulching, fertilizing, and weed control
- Assist with snow plowing during winter months to keep pathways clear and safe for clients and team members
Experience
- Prior experience in landscaping or gardening is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is highly valued
- Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with landscaping equipment enhances your ability to perform tasks effectively
- Knowledge of horticulture principles and landscape maintenance best practices is a plus
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and small construction equipment such as excavators confidently
- Experience with tree care techniques including trimming and pruning is advantageous
- Strong work ethic with the ability to follow safety protocols diligently
- Physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions is essential
