HVAC Service Technician

Key Responsibilities:

• Expert Service Delivery: Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of residential HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, and ventilation equipment with precision and care.
• Advanced Diagnostics: Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues using industry-leading tools and techniques to identify root causes and recommend effective, lasting solutions.
• Proactive Maintenance: Conduct thorough inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal system performance and catch potential problems before they become costly emergencies.
• Comprehensive Repairs: Install, repair, or replace critical components such as compressors, motors, fans, thermostats, filters, and ductwork to manufacturer specifications.
• Team Collaboration: Work alongside skilled technicians to coordinate schedules, prioritize emergency service calls, and ensure every customer receives timely, professional service.
• Customer Excellence: Communicate with homeowners in a professional, empathetic manner—listening to concerns, clearly explaining repair options, and providing honest recommendations for system improvements and upgrades.
• Detailed Documentation: Maintain accurate service records using our CRM system (Service Titan), documenting equipment status, repairs performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.
• Continuous Growth: Stay current on industry advancements, manufacturer updates, and emerging HVAC technologies through ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience as a Residential HVAC Service Technician or similar role
• Valid HVAC technician license/certification (EPA certification required)
• Strong technical aptitude with demonstrated proficiency in diagnosing and repairing residential HVAC systems across multiple brands
• Comprehensive knowledge of HVAC codes, regulations, and safety standards
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure
• Outstanding customer service abilities with clear, professional communication
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and efficiently manage your schedule
• Physical capability to lift 50 lbs, work in various weather conditions, and access confined spaces
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
