Spark IT Management is a growing managed IT services provider based in Hamburg, NJ, serving businesses throughout the region. We're a tight-knit team that takes pride in delivering fast, friendly, and reliable technology support to our clients. We're looking for a motivated, tech-savvy individual to join us as a Help Desk Technician and grow their IT career with us.
What You'll Do
As a Help Desk Technician, you'll be the first point of contact for our clients' day-to-day technology needs. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing Tier 1 and Tier 2 help desk support via phone, email, and remote tools — diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues
- Setting up, configuring, and troubleshooting desktops, laptops, printers, and other endpoint devices
- Supporting Microsoft 365 applications and cloud services, including user account management and email troubleshooting
- Assisting with networking and connectivity issues including basic router, switch, and Wi-Fi troubleshooting
- Traveling to client sites in the local area for on-site support and equipment installations
- Using Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) tools to proactively support and maintain client systems
- Documenting all support tickets, resolutions, and client communications accurately
What We're Looking For
- 0–2 years of experience in IT support or a related technical role
- CompTIA A certification preferred (or actively working toward it)
- Basic understanding of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, and networking fundamentals
- Strong communication skills — you'll be working directly with clients
- Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (local client visits required)
- Ability to lift and move computer equipment as needed
Nice to Have
- Experience with ticketing systems or RMM platforms
- Familiarity with Active Directory or Azure AD
- Any additional IT certifications (Network , ITIL, etc.)
