Duties
- Set up, operate, and monitor various production machinery such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, press brakes, stamping presses, and flexo presses to produce precision parts.
- Program and troubleshoot CNC equipment using CAD (Computer-Aided Design), CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing), Fanuc controls, and other programming tools to ensure accurate machining operations.
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) specifications, and technical drawings to verify dimensions and quality standards.
- Conduct routine inspections using calipers, micrometers, precision measuring instruments, and basic math skills to ensure parts meet strict tolerances.
- Handle materials safely within the warehouse or manufacturing floor using forklifts and other materials handling equipment; assist with fabrication, assembly line tasks, and packaging as needed.
- Maintain machine cleanliness, perform preventive maintenance, and document production activities to support quality control efforts.
- Collaborate with team members on tooling setup, fabrication processes, welding tasks, and assembly operations to optimize productivity.
Qualifications
- Manufacturing experience a plus.
