Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Data collection and interpretation as well as being responsible for performing routine chemical testing of samples in a laboratory setting.

• Collect and prepare samples of recycled materials for analysis.

• Perform basic laboratory tests and assays to determine the composition and quality of precious metals.

• Maintain accurate records of sample collection, testing procedures, and results.

• Ensure all laboratory equipment is properly cleaned, calibrated, and maintained.

• Follow all safety protocols and regulatory guidelines related to handling valuable materials.

• Assist senior lab personnel with analytical procedures and reporting as needed.

• Support quality control and process improvement initiatives.

• Familiar with lab safety and good laboratory practice
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
• Must have experience with analytical balances, pipettes, volumetric glassware, XRF, OR ICP-OES is a plus

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree highly preferred in a Science related field, Biology, Physics or Chemistry
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
