Distribution Manager

Distribution Manager - Based in De Smet, South Dakota

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Distribution Manager to join our team. Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate all aspects of the delivery process, including transfers, deliveries, and returns within the assigned territory.
• Collaborate with dealers to develop and implement effective distribution plans and schedules.
• Work closely with processors to facilitate the transfer of products out of their facilities.
• Ensure that all loads comply with legal weight regulations and that trucks are utilized efficiently.
• Utilize company assets effectively to generate revenue and maximize operational efficiency.
• Handle inbound and outbound loads at the facility, ensuring smooth and timely operations.
• Maintain proper care and regular maintenance of company assets to ensure longevity and safety.
• Promote a safety-first culture by ensuring team members perform their tasks in a safe and responsible manner.
• Adapt to changing duties and responsibilities as required to meet organizational needs.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in logistics, transportation, or delivery coordination preferred.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and responsibilities.
• Authorized to work in the United States
