Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Manager / Estimator to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and coordinate construction projects from inception through completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in construction management, estimating, and project coordination, with proficiency in industry-standard software tools such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Civil 3D, HeavyBid, and other construction management platforms. This position is integral to maintaining high standards of quality and safety across all projects while fostering strong client relationships.
Duties
- Lead the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects, ensuring adherence to project schedules and budgets.
- Prepare detailed construction estimates using industry-standard estimating software such as HeavyBid and Construction estimating tools.
- Develop comprehensive project schedules utilizing Primavera P6 and other scheduling software to coordinate resources effectively.
- Review blueprints, schematics, and contracts to ensure project specifications are met accurately.
- Manage project documentation including contracts, change orders, and progress reports using Construction management software like ProCore.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to facilitate smooth project workflows.
- Oversee construction site activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Monitor project progress through regular site visits and meetings; address any issues promptly to minimize delays.
- Assist in bid preparation by analyzing project scope and preparing accurate estimates for potential projects.
- Ensure effective communication across all stakeholders to maintain transparency and accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction management, estimating, or related roles with a strong background in civil or heavy construction projects.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Civil 3D, HeavyBid, and other construction management tools.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, contracts administration, and construction site safety protocols.
- Excellent project scheduling skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability in project coordination and team leadership within a fast-paced environment.
- Effective time management skills with a focus on meeting deadlines without compromising quality or safety standards.
- Relevant educational background in construction management or engineering is preferred.
