Basic Job description

· Have overall experience of all boat systems

· Troubleshoot and repair boat engines, hulls, propellers, rigging, etc

· Ability to apply good judgement and problem-solving skills

·· Maintains a positive team environment and willingness to help other team members

· Washes, cleans, buffs, waxes, vacuums, etc. interior and exterior of boat

· Participates in loading, unloading and moving boats via tractor

· Inspecting and repairing boats for minor repairs.

· Maintains a positive team environment and willingness to help other team members

Requirements:

· Strong work ethic

· Excellent knowledge of marine machinery

· Customer Service is a must

· Ability to work efficiently

· Certification if required for position

· Valid Drivers License

· Positive Attitude

Working Conditions / Physical requirements

· Shop environment may require extended periods of time kneeling, bending, climbing, twisting, and lifting heavy objects 50lbs or more.

· Ability to work outdoors in all kinds of weather conditions

· Ability to operate a Forklift and tractor

· Ability to ascend and descend a ladder

· Ability to work in confined spaces

· Ability to maintain a clean, tidy work environment

· Basic boat handling skills preferred
