Elm Street Development is seeking an experienced asset manager to oversee their income-producing real estate portfolio. The position will be responsible for asset management, leasing, financing, development, and construction. A successful candidate will be a well-rounded self-starter with excellent general management and communication skills. Requirements include: a master’s degree or undergraduate major in business administration or finance; excellent Excel skills; excellent business communication skills, both spoken and written. Three to five years of experience in commercial real estate banking or property management is strongly preferred. Salary range: $130,000-$140,000 based on experience.

Duties include but are not limited to:
- Overseeing stabilized assets by directing third party property managers and leasing brokers.
- Managing third party contractors for construction of new retail properties to bring them to stabilization.
- Implementing programs to improve property performance and maximize cash flow.
- Analyzing financial statements and property operating statements.
- Reviewing and directing annual property budgets.
- Making leasing decisions for all new leases and lease renewals: negotiate business terms and lease documents.
- Planning and presenting at annual partner meetings.
- Managing communications to partners.
- Supervising capital improvement programs.
- Managing third party annual appraisals.
- Preparing and improving monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on the portfolio’s operations, financials, leases, capital improvement projects, etc.
- Preparing loan packages for commercial property mortgages.
- Assisting the CFO in commercial property loan closings, refinances, and compliance reporting as needed.
