Responsibilities
- Safely operate a range of commercial vehicles such as tractor-trailers, tankers, to deliver propane and hazardous goods across designated routes.
- Follow all DOT (Department of Transportation), FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration), and hazardous materials regulations to ensure compliance during transport and delivery.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on trucks and trailers to identify maintenance needs or safety issues before departure or after arrival.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding route updates, delivery status, or any incidents encountered on the road.
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving with a focus on route driving and freight delivery.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements relevant to propane or hazardous materials transport preferred.
