Legend Biotech is seeking a PD Data Sciences, CMC as part of the Technical Development team based in Somerset, NJ.
Role Overview
Legend Biotech is seeking an Intern as part of the Analytical Development team based in Somerset, NJ to support the Analytical Development Function with analytical data collection, scientific data analysis by creating a database and the use of statistical tool to support data visualization. This project aims to provide an enhanced scientific understanding of the gene-modified product (such as CAR-T cells) in terms of its composition and function.
Key Responsibilities

• Collecting and consolidating scientific data for Process Development (ELN, process instrument data storage source).
• Creating database to store the collected data according to defines specifications and attributes.
• Apply statistical tool to facilitate the exploration of various figures to support data analysis and scientific interpretation.
• Interact with PD scientist and leadership to understand the scope of the project and be able to provide the database and statistical tools within the targeted timeline.
  

Requirements

• Second- or third-year Science or Engineering undergraduate student with skills in data modeling that enables efficient data exploration, data reporting and easier future maintainability
• Skills and experience and/or working knowledge of Power BI as an example, or other type of easy to maintain database and data modeling applications
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Motivated, highly organized and muti-tasking skills
• Ability to work independently and as a team player
• Ability to learn and understand scientific data in CGT settings (Cell and vector manufacturing process etc.).
