The Business Development Coordinator (BDC) acts as a liaison between customers from internet leads and the sales team by communicating effectively and timely. Assists with customer questions, creates and confirms appointments, and follows up to help drive sales or support in the buying process.

Paid on commission depedning on performance

Duties and responsibilities

  • Reaches out to all potential customers from internet leads and answers questions about vehicle inventory
  • Creates and confirms sales appointments with leads from internet as well as phone inquiries
  • Communicates all sales appointments with Sales Associates
  • Manages customer leads and drives internet traffic to the Dealership site
  • Follows up with all unsold customers to help drive potential sales
  • Answers customers’ questions on product inventory, and helps customers find the best car for their needs by explaining the benefits of the vehicles
  • Monitors all sales leads and maintains detailed customer files and sales reports
  • Sets and meets sales goals, helping the Dealership to remain profits
  • Works closely with Sales Associates throughout the sales process, starting with initial appointment
  • Maintains enthusiasm about the vehicle inventory and knowledge of such inventory, as well as products and services the Dealership offers

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with internet sales
  • Prior sales experience
  • Automotive experience preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing
  • Ability to understand the needs of a diverse client base and adapt to such needs
  • Excellent customer service skills and great attitude
  • Ability to work independently and as a self-starter
  • Collaborative, team player
  • Ability to handle a high volume of calls while providing great customer service
  • Professional appearance and work ethic
  • Willingness to go above and beyond duties to help a sale and adapt easily and quickly to changes
  • Willingness to work non-traditional hours
  • Desire to “get the job done”
  • Understanding that the position may be scheduled and required on holidays
  • Current and valid driver’s license with satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $5,000.00 - $15,000.00 per month
