What are the responsibilities and job description for the Corporate Governance Paralegal position at Legalpeople?
Our client, a global technology company, is looking for a Senior Paralegal for a full-time, six-month secondment on their global subsidiaries corporate governance team. Start date would be in January. Candidates should have:
- Corporate practice experience with a solid understanding of corporate governance fundamentals (board consents, shareholder consents, board/shareholder meetings, etc.)
- Familiarity with corporate restructures (internal M&A, intercompany funding, entity maintenance and closure)
- Excellent interpersonal skills with meticulous attention to detail as the secondee will work directly with subsidiary directors who are VPs of their respective business lines
- Above experience ideally comes from a publicly-held company
Strong preference for someone based in Seattle who can work on-site at least 3 times per week. This role will pay $50-60 per hour, based on experience, through a W-2 with Legalpeople.
