Trademark Attorney - Entry Level

We are revamping for the future to deliver the highest quality of intellectual property legal advice through personalized video consults (through Google Meet), and pre-recorded but personalized Loom videos to each client. We have over 80,000 active clients around the world.

Essential Job Functions :

• Support the trademark preparation and prosecution practice inside the Firm. Timely review and approval of assigned trademark matters.
• Support the Trademark litigation and dispute resolution practice inside the Firm.
• Carefully supervise the dedicated legal assistants assigned to you to ensure maximum productivity and ensure your time is freed up for highest and best use.
• Provide initial legal advice to retained clients regarding trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, dispute resolution, IP enforcement.
• Develop new work from existing global trademark clients through relationship building, networking and professional written and video meet communications.
• Utilize video communications as a primary means of communication with clients, with an emphasis on creating pre-recorded Loom videos and scheduling Google Meets and Loom with camera on and video consultation.

As an added benefit to you, you are permitted to work from home or anywhere in the world. You must work from a private immediate environment however to ensure client confidentiality. You will need to remain accessible during designated work hours and understand that management retains the right to require the employee to come into the regular work-site in one of our offices in California or Arizona.

Working Hours:

Your working hours are flexible. However, you will need to be available and responsive to Google meet video conference, Zoom, phone, email, and google chats during the day time. We recommend that you provide a weekly schedule between 7 AM and 9 PM Monday through Friday (CDT). Given you have a flexible work at home schedule, your available hours are expanded. Please confirm the weekly schedule of your availability with your Practice Manager(s)/HR Manager in advance. All working hours requests will be considered and approved based on the business needs of the Firm.

Flexible schedule and timings. You will be required to create a 2 minute Loom video introducing yourself and explaining your experience and interest in this position for serious consideration.

Minimum Requirements:

• Attorney licensed in any U.S. state, in good standing.
• Juris Doctorate degree.
• Exceptional writing and research skills.

Starting Salary : $65,000 to $75,000 per year, depending on experience bonus potential of $10K to $30K in Year 1. This is an entry level position, but ideal candidates will have a demonstrated interest in branding, trademarks, IP law, or entrepreneurship and will possess 1-3 years of relevant experience.
