Real Estate Processor / Paralegal

Affiliate Realtor Office in Boca Raton, FL is seeking an experienced Real Estate Processor / Paralegal to support its busy real estate practice for a full time permanent position with excellent growth potential. 

This position will primarily support the firm’s residential real estate matters, servicing the title company's largest client. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing files from contract through closing in a fast-paced, HIGH CUSTOMER SERVICE, upscale clientele environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of new real estate contract, contact all parties, manage title and lien search process and help with any curative matters.
• Collaborate with closer to get all documents, perform some closings. Post closings are done by another person (not responsible in this role for post-closing). 
• Prepare, review, and organize closing documents, title commitments, and lender packages
• Coordinate with buyers, sellers, lenders, title companies, developers, HOAs, and agents throughout the transaction
• Order and review title, survey, estoppel, lien search, and payoff information
• Assist with scheduling and coordinating closings & perform some closings
• Maintain accurate file notes, calendars, deadlines, and follow-up tasks
• Resolve title or document issues proactively to keep transactions on track
• Communicate professionally with clients and all parties involved in the transaction

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a real estate processor, closer, or real estate paralegal
• Strong knowledge of Florida real estate transactions, particularly new construction closings
• Experience handling estoppels, title review, payoffs, and closing packages
• Familiarity with real estate closing software (experience with SoftPro is a plus, but candidates with similar systems experience [i.e. Doubletime] are encouraged to apply)
• Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple files and deadlines independently
• Professional communication and client service skills
• Go-Getter with a Can-Do Attitude who is excited to take ownership of largest client and grow it even further. 
• Someone open to attending networking events or tradeshows  with CEO
• Average Volume of Closings is 20-30 per month, with 40-50 files in the pipeline. There is also an assistant that helps with tasks.
