Temporary or Temp-to-Hire
A well-regarded Miami law firm is seeking an experienced Civil Litigation Paralegal for a long-term temporary assignment starting ASAP. This role could potentially become permanent if it’s a good fit for all parties.
The firm would like someone who can at least commit through November 21st, but longer term is preferred.
About the Role:
The paralegal will support attorneys through all stages of litigation, including trial preparation, case management, discovery, and document production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage cases from filing through trial, including depositions and hearings
- Review, organize, and summarize medical records and depositions
- Draft and respond to discovery requests
- Communicate with clients, experts, and vendors
- Prepare legal documents, witness files, and exhibit lists
- Coordinate large-scale document productions
- Maintain organized case files and provide timely updates to attorneys
Qualifications:
- 3 years’ experience in complex commercial or civil litigation
- Strong knowledge of federal and state court rules/procedures
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage deadlines
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook
