What are the responsibilities and job description for the Attorney Advisor position at Legal Programs?
This position serves as a Senior Attorney Advisor in the Legal Programs Office of the Executive Office for United States Attorneys (EOUSA). The incumbent provides expert support, assistance, advice, and policy guidance regarding legal process and procedures for the United States Attorneys as it relates to all aspects of civil litigation, which includes bringing claims on behalf of, and/or defending the interests of, the United States.
United States citizenship is required.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience bringing claims on behalf of, and/or defending the interests of, the United States and in litigation of affirmative and/or defensive civil cases.

Qualifications:
Required Qualifications: Applicants must possess a J.D. Degree, be an active member of the bar (any U.S. jurisdiction), and have at least 4 years post-J.D. legal or other relevant experience.United States citizenship is required.
