JOB SUMMARY
At Legal Innovators, our mission is to help new lawyers launch strong, sustainable careers through thoughtful recruiting, training, and coaching with continued support through their first year to two years of practice.
We’re seeking a Recruiting & Professional Development Coordinator to support both recruiting initiatives and training programs as we scale.
This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of execution and to grow alongside the company as our recruiting and professional development efforts expand. The ideal candidate enjoys bringing structure to evolving processes, following work through, and contributing to how our recruiting and training programs become more effective and efficient over time.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Coordinate the full recruiting lifecycle, including job postings, candidate tracking, interview scheduling, and applicant communications; offer letter coordination; and coordination with campus career services.
- Support recruiting programs and initiatives, including on-campus and virtual recruiting; building relationships with law schools and student organizations; preparing recruiting and interview materials; interviewer coordination and scheduling; maintaining candidate communications; tracking candidate status and hiring metrics; and assisting with interviews and providing candidate feedback.
- Own the logistics and execution of live, virtual, and multi-week training programs, ensuring smooth delivery from planning through follow-up. This includes managing and organizing production of program materials; coordinating participant travel; onsite program setup and logistics; and assisting with program evaluations.
- Run day-to-day operations across recruiting and training, including scheduling, invitations, registration and attendance tracking, Zoom setup, on-site support, and real-time troubleshooting.
- Lead all technology-related needs for recruiting and training, including applicant tracking and reporting, participant portals, evaluation survey tools, and Zoom training logistics (creating polls, managing breakout rooms, editing recordings, and supporting live sessions).
- Continuously improve how we work, identifying gaps, refining processes, and collaborating on recruiting and training communications (e.g., careers site content, social posts, marketing materials) to ensure our recruiting and training programs and approaches are innovative and efficient as our company scales.
- Maintain regular work availability, including after-hours support for urgent needs or time sensitive projects.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in recruiting, preferably at a law firm or law school.
- Fervent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong problem solving, able to anticipate needs, and proactive in identifying solutions.
- Ability to contribute ideas and suggest efficient ways of working.
- Demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technology skills, including MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Microsoft Teams, SurveyMonkey, Zoom, Symplicity, 12twenty, and other technology as adopted by the team. Familiarity with Flo Recruit software preferred.
- Extraordinary verbal and written communication and presentation skills are essential.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with internal colleagues and external stakeholders.
- Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment within established guidelines.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining high productivity, communication, and follow-through.
- Exceptional time management, project management, and organizational skills, including being adept at handling concurrent projects and effectively prioritizing tasks in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment.
- Strong analytical skills and comprehension.
- Ability to travel occasionally to attend meetings or events.
