This role is ideal for someone with 4–8 years of public accounting tax experience who wants to grow within a dynamic tax department and work directly with diverse clients across industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead tax planning and compliance projects for individuals and businesses
- Review returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts, and corporations
- Prepare complex tax filings and support technical tax analysis
- Build and maintain strong client relationships; oversee and mentor junior staff
- Research tax and accounting issues and present findings clearly
- Provide accounting support to small and mid‑sized businesses
- Manage multiple engagements and deadlines simultaneously
- Prepare income tax provisions in accordance with GAAP
- Train and develop team members
- Stay current on tax law changes and emerging best practices
- Integrate AI tools into daily work to enhance accuracy and efficiency
Preferred Background
- CPA credential (or CPA eligible)
- 4–8 years of tax experience within a public accounting firm
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience and familiarity of tax systems and trial balance integration systems
