Position Summary

The Wealth Management Associate plays a key role in supporting the firm’s investment strategy and client experience. This position acts independently within established investment policy guidelines to develop, recommend, and execute investment programs designed to achieve client objectives. The role is heavily focused on portfolio construction, investment strategy, and ongoing portfolio oversight, while partnering closely with Wealth Advisors to support client relationships, business development, and firm growth.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and high-quality service
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on annuities and income-oriented investment strategies, including structure, pricing, and portfolio integration
  • Collaborate with advisors to develop investment objectives and implement customized portfolio strategies
  • Construct and manage portfolios in alignment with each client’s Investment Policy Statement (IPS)
  • Participate in prospect meetings and contribute to the development of customized investment proposals
  • Monitor portfolio performance and recommend adjustments based on market conditions and client objectives
  • Stay current on market trends, economic developments, and investment opportunities
  • Coordinate with internal team members and external professionals (CPAs, attorneys, etc.) to ensure alignment on client strategy
  • Maintain compliance with firm policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including documentation and annual reviews
  • Contribute to ongoing improvements in investment processes, portfolio construction, and firm-wide efficiencies


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field
  • 5–7 years of experience in portfolio management, investment analysis, or wealth management
  • Demonstrated involvement in investment decision-making and portfolio construction
  • FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses required
  • CFA or CIMA designation strongly preferred
  • Florida insurance license or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
  • Position can be located in either Tampa or Orlando
