CLINICAL STAFFING COORDINATOR: YOUR ROLE
Your shift as a Clinical Staffing Coordinator begins by checking schedules, identifying coverage needs, and handling call‑outs. You communicate clearly, find solutions, and make sure the unit is staffed and supported. Then you step onto the floor where your presence makes a difference: modeling best practices, coaching team members, supporting training, helping new hires get comfortable, and boosting morale.
Throughout the day, families may approach you with questions or concerns when the Manager is away. You offer reassurance, help with care conferences, assist with tours, and handle concerns with kindness and professionalism. You join forces with life enrichment staff to keep residents engaged, encourage team participation in meaningful activities, and help with holiday events or family gatherings.
Your administrative responsibilities help the unit stay organized: completing documentation, preparing reports, checking supplies (first aid, gloves, bags), assisting admissions, transfers, and discharges, performing chart audits, filing paperwork, updating standing orders, and even putting away spools every other Friday. You respond quickly to call lights, support new move‑ins, fill in call‑offs as needed, and provide calm "weekend oversight" to help staff stay focused and supported.
Through all of this, you help maintain a peaceful, structured, and compassionate environment that reflects our mission and dementia‑care philosophy.

YOUR HOURS
In this part-time scheduling role, you will work 20 hours per week on weekends, specifically on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
