Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and assist with parking and retrieving vehicles efficiently
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and ensuring a positive experience
- Safely operate vehicles, including those with manual transmissions, within Dallas VA hospital location, Sam Rayburn Veteran Center (Bonham, Tx), or the Fort Worth Outpatient Center parking areas
- Manage cash handling and cashiering duties accurately when necessary
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the valet station and surrounding areas
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate vehicle movements and ensure timely service
- Uphold safety protocols and traffic regulations to protect guests, staff, and vehicles
- Assist with special requests or additional services as needed, such as delivery or dealership-related tasks
Requirements
- Prior experience in guest services, hospitality, or valet operations preferred
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience driving manual transmission vehicles is a plus
- Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities preferred to serve diverse guests effectively
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform retail math calculations
- Experience in dealership or delivery driver roles is advantageous
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and stand for extended periods
- Reliable transportation to commute to Dallas VA hospital location, Sam Rayburn Veteran Center (Bonham, Tx), or the Fort Worth Outpatient Center parking facilities

Valet Supervisor
- Staff Supervision and Training: Lead, motivate, train, and mentor valet attendants on day-to-day activities, performance standards, and safety protocols. This includes creating work schedules and ensuring adequate staffing levels.
- Guest Services: Ensure all guests receive prompt, professional, and courteous service. Responsibilities include greeting guests, assisting with luggage or directions, and promptly addressing any concerns or complaints.
- Operational Management: Oversee parking logistics to maximize efficiency and flow of vehicles, manage the valet podium and key handling, and conduct regular checks on the valet area to ensure cleanliness and safety.
- Safety and Compliance: Enforce safety guidelines, conduct safety checks on parked vehicles, and ensure staff adhere to all company policies, procedures, and local traffic laws.
- Administrative Duties: Assist management with administrative tasks such as payroll, reporting, inventory management of supplies and equipment, and documenting incidents or accidents.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Previous experience in a valet or supervisory role within the hospitality or parking industry is typically required (e.g., one to two years).
- Licenses & Records: A valid driver's license with an acceptable, clean driving record is mandatory. The ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles is often preferred.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential. The role demands excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Physical Demands: The job often requires extended periods of standing, walking, or running, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Availability: Must be able to work flexible schedules, excluding nights, weekends, and holidays, and work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
