Warehouse & Asset Recovery Associate - Chicago, IL
Pay Range: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour | Full-Time

Join Legacy Transportation's Chicago operations team as a Warehouse & Asset Recovery Associate! This hands-on position supports warehouse operations, equipment recovery, and recycling initiatives. The ideal candidate enjoys working with tools, has mechanical aptitude, and takes pride in maintaining a safe, organized, and productive work environment.
What You'll Do
Disassemble medical equipment using hand and power tools to recover reusable components and recyclable materials.
Sort, organize, and prepare materials for recycling, storage, or shipment.
Inspect, clean, organize, and maintain shipping fixtures.
Assist with shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material staging activities.
Load and unload trailers using forklifts and material handling equipment.
Follow established safety procedures, safety protocols and equipment handling requirements.
. Operate radiation detection equipment.

Requirements
What We're Looking For
Previous warehouse, manufacturing, production or recycling, or related experience preferred.
Forklift experience and ability to be forklift certified required.
Ability to safely use basic hand and power tools.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
Ability to follow written instructions and established procedures.
Basic computer and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to frequently lift and move materials weighing up to 75 pounds.
Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
