What are the responsibilities and job description for the Funding/Post Close position at Legacy Title?
This role is a VERY important role! It is responsible for making sure all of the money in real estate transactions gets to the right places! Must be good with technology and basic math / numbers. This position MUST be completed in office as signed original documents and checks are being handled. Working remotely is not an option.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Maintain escrow accounts
- Review signed closing documents to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Take ownership of designated files to ensure a fast, smooth funding and stellar customer experience
- Assist closers and processors with funding conditions
- Reconcile accounting discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information
- Send and input wires
- Setup and balance escrow files
- Communicate with multiple internal and external parties in the transaction to obtain necessary documentation and explain circumstances
- Respond to phone calls and emails in a timely concise fashion
- Sort and disburse documents to correct parties
- Write policies and distribute to the appropriate parties.
