Plating Technician

Product Finishing Technician

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Monitor operating conditions of plating baths and record data in excel daily and in some cases hourly.
• Process parts in finishing baths
• Observe all Safety Practices, Company Policies, & Quality Management Procedures related to department function.
• Follow all procedures as outlined in detailed work instructions or flow charts

Skills and Knowledge:

• Working knowledge of the following:
• Basic computer skills
• Interest in chemistry a plus
• Desire to complete work to achieve a good, finished product.
• Display the ability to work as a team player with an excellent work ethic
• Must be capable of lifting and transporting materials & production parts weighing up to 50 pounds during a daily work shift.

Education and Qualifications:

• High School Degree or Higher desired.
• Must be reliable and eager to learn how to provide good product consistently.
• Previous work experience in a plating environment is a plus but not required.
• Desire to be an integral part of a team in a small company family environment
