What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tax Accountant position at Legacy Tax and Accounting Service?
We are looking for a tax preparer with knowledge in accounting and QuickBooks skills. The ideal candidate will be willing to put in more than 40 hours per week during the height of tax season, February through April, with normal hours the rest of the year.
Qualifications:
Perform work accurately and in a time efficient manner, with strong attention to detail, organization, and follow through.
Operate in a fully compliant manner to protect client's and the firm's information
Strong written and verbal communication skills, problem solving, technology and organizational skills.
Critical thinking skills are essential.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, and ability to learn other technology. Training on our tax software will be provided.
Notable attention to detail, self-initiated follow-through, and outstanding time management.
