HR Generalist

Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for an HR Generalist role in Cincinnati, OH. Our client is a well-established organization seeking a motivated HR professional to support the day-to-day operations of its Human Resources department. This position plays an important role in delivering HR services across the organization while helping foster a professional, respectful, and positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:

· Support recruitment efforts, including job postings, candidate screening, and interview scheduling.
· Coordinate new-hire onboarding and orientation to help ensure a smooth transition into the organization.
· Support employee development and training initiatives.
· Serve as a point of contact for employee questions regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
· Assist with the administration of employee benefit programs and help resolve benefits-related inquiries.
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records within HRIS systems.
· Support performance management processes, including employee reviews, documentation, and coaching activities.
· Assist with incoming calls and ensure inquiries are answered or directed in a courteous and professional manner.
· Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail to the appropriate departments or individuals.
· Maintain employee birthday records and coordinate monthly birthday recognition, including posters and employee birthday cards.
· Maintain professionalism and confidentiality when working with employees, vendors, customers, and sensitive HR information.
· Assist the Human Resources Manager with additional HR initiatives and day-to-day departmental needs as required.

Qualifications:

· Previous Human Resources experience, preferably in an HR Generalist or similar HR support role.
· Experience with recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, and HR processes.
· Familiarity with HRIS systems and maintaining confidential employee records.
· Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to interact professionally and respectfully with employees at all levels of an organization.
· Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
· Understanding of HR policies, procedures, and employment compliance practices.
· Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
