Forklift Operator

Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Forklift Operator role in Forest Grove, OR.

Key Responsibilities:

· Operate forklifts and material-handling equipment safely and efficiently to support daily warehouse and production operations.
· Load, unload, and transport materials, pallets, and finished products throughout the facility.
· Perform accurate inventory movements, including scanning, labeling, and documentation of materials.
· Conduct routine equipment inspections and follow proper maintenance protocols to ensure safe operation.
· Assist with organizing warehouse spaces, ensuring materials are stored securely and logically.
· Support production teams by staging raw materials and removing completed products as needed.
· Follow all safety guidelines, including OSHA standards and internal company procedures.
· Maintain a clean and orderly work environment to support efficiency and safety.
· Promptly report equipment malfunctions, inventory discrepancies, or safety hazards to supervisors.

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent; prior warehouse or forklift operation experience preferred.
· Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification (training may be provided).
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet in a fast-paced environment.
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
· Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
· Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings or weekends, as required.
· Basic understanding of warehouse safety regulations is a plus.
