Cleaner & Contents Technician

Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Cleaner & Contents Technician role in Portland, OR. Our client is a well-established leader in the restoration industry, dedicated to helping customers recover after property damage with professionalism, compassion, and attention to detail. They take pride in restoring homes, businesses, and personal belongings while delivering exceptional customer service every step of the way.

• Clean, deodorize, and restore customer contents affected by smoke, water damage, dirt, and other contaminants.
• Assist with unpacking, cleaning, organizing, and repacking customer belongings into boxes or storage containers.
• Maintain accurate inventories of items that have been cleaned, restored, or deemed non-salvageable.
• Coordinate repairs for furniture, electronics, area rugs, and other household contents.
• Perform biohazard cleanup, including the safe handling of blood, bodily fluids, needles, and other hazardous materials while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). (Additional $5/hour premium while fully suited in PPE.)
• Follow all company safety procedures and industry standards during restoration and cleanup projects.
• Load, unload, and transport customer contents as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment and company vehicles.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure projects are completed efficiently and accurately.

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Previous cleaning experience in the restoration industry preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Willingness to respond to after-hours call-outs when needed.

• Starting Pay: $20.00 per hour.
• Additional $5.00/hour while performing biohazard cleanup in full PPE.
• $25 call-out bonus plus applicable overtime pay for after-hours emergency response.
