Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for an Accounting Specialist position in Vancouver, WA. Key Responsibilities:
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and efficiently.
Review, verify, and enter invoices, payments, and financial data into accounting systems.
Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and general ledger entries.
Assist with billing, payment processing, and collections as needed.
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation of transactions.
Assist with month-end closing activities and preparation of financial reports.
Research and resolve invoice discrepancies, payment issues, and account discrepancies.
Communicate with vendors, customers, and internal departments regarding accounting matters.
Support payroll processing and other administrative accounting functions as needed.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial and company information.
Collaborate with team members to ensure deadlines are met and accounting processes run smoothly.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.
Previous experience in accounting, bookkeeping, accounts payable, or accounts receivable preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer applications.
Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks or similar systems is a plus.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial recordkeeping.
Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
Competitive hourly wage of $20.00–$25.00 DOE.
Consistent Monday–Friday schedule, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM.
