Legacy Supply Chain is hiring a Warehouse Janitor to support our distribution center located in Mt. Juliet, TN. As a Warehouse Janitor, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of both the warehouse floor and office spaces. This role is crucial in ensuring a safe, hygienic, and efficient working environment for all staff. This position offers a comprehensive benefits package including a 401(k) plan with up to 5% company match, and monthly bonus opportunity!
Schedule and Compensation:
- 1st Shift: Monday through Friday – 6:00am to 2:30pm
- Starting pay rate $20.00 per hour.
What to expect as a Janitor:
- Empty all trash containers and replace liners in both warehouse and office areas
- Sweep, mop, buff, and vacuum floors and rugs in both warehouse and office areas
- Clean and sanitize employee restrooms, breakrooms, and offices
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, and soap in restrooms and breakrooms.
- Clean breakroom microwaves and refrigerators on a regular basis
- Dispose of trash, leaves, and other debris from the property as needed
- Follow all health and safety regulations to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
- Willing to be cross-trained and work in other departments as needed
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED preferred.
- Previous janitorial/custodial work experience preferred.
- Knowledge of proper use, dilution, and labeling of all cleaning chemicals.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds independently.
- Flexible to work overtime; including weekends
