2nd Shift Warehouse Team Lead - Pack/Mezzanine

What to expect as a Warehouse Team Lead:

• Oversees the daily operations of the Pack Line and Mezzanine
• Resolve order issues for packers, pickers, and water spider
• Ensure mez boxes are processed and delivered to the dock in a timely manner
• Monitor workflow and team members to eliminate gap time
• Coordinate order deliveries with pickers to maintain an efficient flow
• Work closely with planners to ensure a steady workflow
• Monitor HotQ and daily service reports to ensure orders are processed on time
• Assist supervisor with daily planning of team member assignments
• Ensures all areas are properly stocked with supplies
• Assist pickers/packers with general questions
• Process order transfers (OT) as needed
• Communicate department issues to supervisor
• Meet established procedures and productivity, safety, and quality standards
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and reach trucks as required in a manner supporting all safety rules and procedures.
• Complete Monthly OSHA training
• Ensure area Housekeeping requirements are met
• Abides by all OSHA rules and Legacy Supply Chain Services safety practices
• Performs other related duties as assigned by supervision

 Qualifications:

• High School diploma/GED preferred.
• General math skills required.
• Satisfactory understanding of all applicable Standard Operating Procedures.
• Must be able to work safely and within company safety guidelines.
• Entry level understanding of basic computer keyboarding required in order to operate in our paperless Legacy Connect environment.
• Ability to properly use material handling equipment including Powered Industrial Trucks.
• Must be able to operate an electronic scanner.
• Satisfactory understanding of all safety requirements, standard operating procedures, and quality guidelines.
• Efficiency with WMS, SAP and related software preferred
